ABOUT ME

I am a scientist and self-taught photographer residing in Switzerland.

During my free time, I go out with my camera to enjoy and develop the craft of capturing stories in photographs.

My equipment ranges from normal mirrorless cameras and lenses, to astronomy-specific cooled cameras and telescopes; the latter of which allow me to capture portraits of the wonders of our visible universe. One of my images of the cosmos (the Eagle Nebula) was selected for the 2026 calendar of the Swiss Astro-Imaging Association.

I also enjoy bringing my photos to life using my own professional photo printer, and a collection of professional grade fine art papers. A selection of prints can be purchased in my shop.
