ABOUT ME

I am a scientist and self-taught photographer residing in Switzerland.

During my free time, I go out with my camera to enjoy and develop the craft of capturing the world in photographs.

My equipment ranges from normal mirrorless cameras and lenses, to astronomy-specific cooled cameras and telescopes; the latter of which allow me to capture portraits of the wonders of our visible universe. My image of the Eagle Nebula was selected for the 2026 calendar of the Swiss Astro-Imaging Association.

I also enjoy bringing my photos to life using my own professional photo printer, and a collection of gallery grade fine art papers. A selection of my prints can be purchased in my shop.
